Newsmaker is wholly owned by the Guardian, and reflects the Guardian's commitment to education, an issue that has always been at the heart of the Guardian's values. As a business that specialises in producing high-quality content, it is a natural fit for the Guardian to invest in the e-learning business.

We are committed to supporting teachers in using ICT in the classroom, and as such have developed digital educational products that meet teachers' needs. We work daily with teachers and through our links with the Guardian, we also have a broad understanding of the education sector - from education professionals, to governors, teachers, students and their parents.
