Newsmaker - from the Guardian

 

The Newsmaker team can provide on-site* training for your school or organisation, covering:

• how to set up and use Newsmaker
• the pedagogy behind using the news to teach
• ideas for classroom activities using Newsmaker

Participants will gain confidence in using Newsmaker for teaching and learning in a range of subjects. Whole-school, subject-specific and hands-on training is available by arrangement.

Training can be organised during INSET days or for twilight sessions.
